THIS IS OUR STORY…

1940.

Company founded on September 19, 1940 in a small winery in Colonia del Valle in Mexico City, with the participation of 10 people working and with high hopes of success in Galvanizing.
In its first beginnings, being a pioneer in metallic finishes, they galvanized and tinned food utensils, electronic parts and parts for the Telefónica Nacional company.

1947

In 1947, the company was built in the Coyoacán neighborhood with 22 workers and 3 office employees. It was made of galvanized metal and some chrome parts such as keys, plates, handles for refrigerators, as well as things for locksmiths and aluminum.

1960

For the year 1960, thanks to its high capacity, it changed its facilities to Tlalnepantla in the State of Mexico, thus beginning a new era for the company, where already with almost 60 employees each of the production lines is designed and built, which offered Anodized, Galvanized and Chrome finishes. This allowed the company to enter the automotive area, thus raising its systems and quality standards, which allows it to position itself today as the leading company in the electroplating industry in Mexico.

1964

In 1964, in conjunction with Ford Motor Company de México, the chrome plating of automotive fenders was developed for the 1965 models. Later, parts of General Motors, Chrysler de México, Renault, Nissan, V. A.M. and Volkswagen.

2008

Estañadora wins the “Lonestar” project, which establishes us as the only ones authorized by Navistar to chrome Lonestar aluminum fenders throughout America.

2010

From 2010 we obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certification.

 

 

2011

The polishing and anodizing of the more than 15,000 thousand hexagons that surround the Soumaya museum was undoubtedly an emblem for Mexico today.

2012

In 2012 we obtained the ISO/TS 16949: 2009 certification.

2017

In 2017 we made the transition from our ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015 certification and the transition from ISO / TS 16946: 2009 to IATF 1694.

And currently we have an IATF 16949: 2016 certification, which has allowed us to serve a dozen T1 clients mainly and obtain new projects, as well as provide employment for more than 200 people. All this we have been able to achieve with the automation of our processes and the implementation of new technologies.

We have been recognized for the third year in a row among the best metal finishing companies in North America by Products Finishing Top Shops list for 2020.
